This policy explains how André Rocha, doing business as Carrying the Cross, a sole proprietorship based in Georgia, United States (“we”, “us”) handles personal information on Mission Academy (academy.carryingthecross.com).

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored encrypted).
• Purchase details: billing name, church or organization name, order and invoice records. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Learning records: which lessons you complete, quiz attempts and scores, written reflections and certificates.
• Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, kept in server logs for security.

How we use it

• To give you access to your courses and track your progress.
• To process payments, send receipts and invoices, and keep accounting records.
• To let a church leader who assigned you a seat see your progress (percent complete, current session, last activity, quiz average and certificates). Leaders never see your reflections or individual quiz answers.
• To answer your questions and improve the courses.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with services that help us run the site, such as our web host and Stripe for payments, and when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and learning records while your account is active. Order and invoice records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Deleting your account removes your progress and certificates. Order records are kept with your personal details removed.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to complete checkout.
